From the East
From Bridgwater (M5 Junction 23 or 24) follow the A39 or from Taunton (M5 Junction 25) follow the A358 and then A39, to Minehead. At the first roundabout go straight on into Bircham Road, then at the next mini-roundabout fork right into Alcombe Road.
From the West
From Porlock follow the A39 to Minehead. At the first junction, sign posted Minehead A39, carry straight on following directions to Williton and Bridgwater (A39) and Taunton (A358). Continue along this road and at the mini-roundabout turn left into Alcombe Road.
From Alcombe Road
After approximately 200 yards take the third turning on the right following signs for the Sea Front (marked on the road) and Minehead Enterprise Park. This is Ponsford Road, which leads into Tregonwell Road and Glendower House is on the left, opposite the telephone box.
Please Note
Tregonwell Road is one-way, therefore if coming from the Sea Front take the first tuning on the left after the West Somerset Railway, into Glenmore Road. If coming through the town, down The Avenue (the main thoroughfare through Minehead) towards the Sea Front, take the next turning on the right after Tregonwell Road. Glenmore Road is also one-way, follow it to the end and get into the right-hand lane. Turn right at the T-junction and Glendower House is on the left.
Car Park
The car park is at the rear of the house and is accessed from a lane that runs parallel to Tregonwell Road. Entry to this is from either Queens Road, turn left before the one-way sign and then right before the recreation ground, or Irnham Road, first turning on the left after Glendower House, and then left again, between Manda Clarke School of Dancing and the Bowling Green. |
